What I'm Working On

This topic needs new name -2015 :) Also are you aware of little balance idea that /r/globaloffensive made to de_cache? http://www.reddit.com/r/GlobalOffensive/comments/2r1v2d/a_way_to_make_de_cache_a_little_less_ctsided/

The thing is, would this make it less CT sided, or completely T sided. Because when it comes to Cache, it should stay a CT sided map, in my opinion. Although I'm not so sure how this will change it too much, unless it makes this cite able for Ts to walk onto. There are other maps that are already closer to 50/50 and should be adjusted if the community really wants a T sided map. I personally am fine with the maps being CT sided. However, I would like to see a brand new T sided map made.

What I personally think is that from spectator view maps being 50/50 balanced is the best. When we watch games best thing is that you really don't know which side has advantage. Round are so much more intense when you really cannot favor any side. For example I don't like Nuke, because usually CT's win most of the rounds. It's suprising if T's win a round, but it doesn't make every round intense to watch when you know CT's have advantage all the time. I don't want maps to be either T or CT favored, but if they are, I would suggest T sided, why? Because from spectator view I like to see more retake situations that chokepoint massacres made by CT's.

Hi all! Here's a preview of DE_SUBZERO. The awesome Tanuki (creator of Seaside and Downtown) helped design the layout, and I created all the art. However, penE from DE_CACHE made the old-school c

Hi guys   So it's summertime for me. That means, I want to create 3 new maps! I'm creating this thread to keep account of these projects and because it should be a fun journey for all, like

OK! Here are the first screenshots of DE_SANTORINI.      For this level, I'm trying to purely map "tones", until I'm ready to add in actual textures. The tones allow me to control for contrast

I've posted the Santorini greybox to the workshop (http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=396996750), if people would like to run around it in a convenient way. Then you can give feedback in this new Steam group

I did some tutorial stuff here, if you're someone who follows my work but doesn't know how to use the editor yet.

"Workshop mappers hate him, because of one simple tip" That got me lol. I enjoyed the tutorial, I didn't know about the alt-right click trick so i learnt something. Looking forward to the next ones.

*EDIT*

It would be cool to see some sort of timelapse of you working on any map. I am interested in the process you take for architecture and detail.
