In short:

 

The problem with the franchise goes deeper than a long history of terrible launches, however. Whatever culture kept the quality of games up and tried to preserve the value of the franchise is long dead, as evidenced by the current reality of the industry and past quotes from developer EA DICE itself. It's perfectly fine to still be a Battlefield fan, but buying Battlefield Hardline at launch is one of the worst bets you can make in gaming in 2014.

They probably realized that Hardline, in it's current state, would deal a big blow to the BF franchise.

But they just announced to postpone the release to make it better...?! You still might not be happy with the end result, but it's surely better than releasing it in its current state isn't it? Oh right. It's cool to bash EA. Sorry.

BF4 could be way better. I'm not saying it's bad. But they messed some things up which disturb the fun when playing it. And that's the point which really annoyes me.

I didn't like BF4, and that's fine with me. I also feel they have lost the magic.  Here's hoping Battlefront will bring it back.. ps. it fucking will!!! I try to tell myself
