Sentura Posted May 10, 2014 Report Posted May 10, 2014 I never understood how petitions are so popular when they really do nothing but show awareness - and awareness isn't something that will change or buy out corporate corruption or lobbyism. It's like people are content to just sign something and think it'll make a difference when really that's the least of what's going to happen. What do you think will happen if you email the leadership of the FCC, when it's mostly bought out or employed by ISP people? Short of doxing individual ISP leaders and lobbyists, I don't see any way this will change. You can't use a water pistol to put out a house fire. spence 1 Quote

It worked because of petitions and public awareness. Petitions sounds like a very weird and rather small weapon to use against corporate greed and corrupt politic practice but it's what we have, it's david and goliath, but there's nothing that can't be fixed if people unite and change.
