kleinluka Posted January 18, 2005 Report Posted January 18, 2005 ok I havent made one yet but will do later, (tomorrow or later during the week). Think japanese/korean temple... asia style. Floors, walls, whatever you like. 512 and upwards. gogogo. Quote
Pericolos0 Posted January 18, 2005 Report Posted January 18, 2005 superb, i'll do one later today. We should make lots so mapcore can release a hires pack Quote
Splitta Posted January 18, 2005 Report Posted January 18, 2005 great idea, i luv asian stuffz0r. i'ma start with a tatami texture (you know, the fluffeh floors inside the japanese houses and castles) it's kinda.. big Quote
Sven_E Posted January 18, 2005 Report Posted January 18, 2005 here is my first try at a japanese texture: Im not really satisfied with this one, maybe i try another one later. Edit: Made a new one Quote
Evert Posted January 18, 2005 Report Posted January 18, 2005 A temple floor, kind of the same style as this: http://oberdorf.org/oly/Malaysia/Penang ... emple.jpeg a bit more worn down though. Would look nice with small reflections and bumpmap I guess: Three small variations in colors and contrast. Quote
von*ferret Posted January 18, 2005 Report Posted January 18, 2005 if you think tatami is fluffy, you're sadly mistaken. Its not "soft" but its padded. I slept on it for like 1 week before. Quote
Evert Posted January 18, 2005 Report Posted January 18, 2005 This one is more of a photobased texture. For use on stairs and areas around the surrounding yard maybe. Quote
von*ferret Posted January 18, 2005 Report Posted January 18, 2005 I'd use that for a courtyard. Quote
Splitta Posted January 18, 2005 Report Posted January 18, 2005 a wall tex for a secret cellar or somethin' like this xD Quote
Evert Posted January 18, 2005 Report Posted January 18, 2005 On that las one Splitta, those things at the top look kinda strange. Make them less "bumpy", keep the shape but remove the high contrast fibers. Also the wooden thing in the middle and bottom look strange. It looks like they are behind the rest of the wood, but the lightning says something else. Quote
Pericolos0 Posted January 19, 2005 Report Posted January 19, 2005 made this wallpanel kindoff thing that can be used on the exterior of a temple Quote
curman Posted January 19, 2005 Report Posted January 19, 2005 Looks great Peri Only the stone doesnt really match i would such more like a cobble/ivy type.. Quote
