jaboo224 Posted April 17, 2014 Report Posted April 17, 2014 Not to sound like a pretentious bastard but Vancouver has a great craft brewery scene. I prefer stouts mainly as im not a big fan of IPA's etc... But after drinking craft i definitely cannot go back to pabst or bud / miller.... Parallel49 is a great beer and i highly recommend giving it a go if you are for what ever reason in the neighbourhood Quote

Beck Posted April 17, 2014 Report Posted April 17, 2014 I'm having some beers tonight. This makes me go: I normally like stuff like Coors Light, Peroni, Amstel. We also have a Brew Dog in Birmingham which sells some damn tasty beers which get you off your face since they're so strong xD Quote

Nice atmosphere, unique flavours, and having PS1/N64 consoles around to play on is a sweet touch. Quote
Dejavo Posted April 17, 2014 Report Posted April 17, 2014 I've honestly never drank a craft/micro brewery beer I liked. They tend to have a stingy taste in my experience which I suppose is "mature" or whatever. Quote

Oh man the one in Birmingham doesn't have classic consoles It does do cheese tasting nights though, it's meant to be awesome with the beer they have! Friend of mine has stocks in Brewdog and he gets discounts in their bars and invites to special events, considered getting myself some too! Sentura 1 Quote

Steppenwolf Posted April 17, 2014 Report Posted April 17, 2014 I'm not much of a beer drinker anymore (or drinker in general). But my favourites always were Czech lagers/pilsners like Budweiser, Staropramen, Gambrinus, Krusovice, Litovel etc. As far as German beers goes my favourites are Rothaus Tannzäpfle, Köstritzer Schwarzbier and Zirndorfer Landbier. Skjalg Posted April 18, 2014 Report Posted April 18, 2014 What mazy said any IPA is a good IPA imho. Quote
Sentura Posted April 18, 2014 Report Posted April 18, 2014 I never got into IPAs that much, it always tastes like liquid weed. Maybe that's the quality? jaboo224 1 Quote
