Hey thur !

Thought it might be a good thing to share the music we're listening to when we work on stuff so other people can discover new sounds...

Did a bit of research before to see if there was another thread like this one... search negative... soo I'll go ahead blip blip.

Depending on my mood I might listen to game soundtracks, movie soundtracks, other genres, but sometimes I crave chill out electronic music.

Here's my share: https://soundcloud.com/tennysonmusic

Not music this time but I'm always listening to some podcasts at work. Great way to learn a thing or two and have some good laughs :)

Joe Rogan (he can be a bit of an asshole sometimes but his show is great, lots of really interesting guests)

Duncan Trussell (he's pretty much my favorite human being right now lol)

+1 for Joe Rogan!

This podcast is pretty cool too, covers gaming in general: http://epicbattleaxe.com/

Also some Trance podcasts, mainly ASOT: http://www.djsradioshow.com/armin-van-buuren/

I cant really concentrate well if there's voices or lyrics so tend to listen to a lot of instrumental stuff.

Ghostly International is pretty good for this. Also I listen to a lot of game soundtracks. I looked up all the artists from Hotline Miami and they have some really good music on their labels and solo albums.

On loop, always.

But yeah, I really can't work while listening to people talking, which is super annoying when you've got lots of podcasts you wanna listen to, don't really mind lyrics since those are easier to tune out. Then again it also depends on whether it's creative work where you have to have to concentrate a bit or if it's just technical repetitious work where you can turn your brain off a bit, I find it easier to listen to podcasts with the latter.

I usually listen to stuff on Spotify, where I find stuff I like and then keep listening the same song so much that I end up hating it :)
