Pampers Posted April 12, 2014 Report Posted April 12, 2014 is it a stand alone game or expansion for civ v? Quote
-HP- Posted April 12, 2014 Report Posted April 12, 2014 Holy shit, that's fucking dope. Never played a Civ, maybe this will sell me into it. Sprony 1 Quote
Minos Posted April 12, 2014 Report Posted April 12, 2014 I hope that the AI in this is a bit more human-like than Civ 5's one. I stopped playing Civ because once you reach a certain skill level the AI becomes very predictable. I think the last difficulty I was able to play was 6, which was pretty challenging at first because all the other CIVs had pretty good initial advantages, but once I caught up with them the challenge was gone. Seems like the higher the difficulty level the more artificial advantages the AI has instead of actually becoming more intelligent. It kind of feels like playing an FPS game against bots that cheat to be more challenging. Don't get me wrong, the AI is fucking amazing in CIV 5 and saw some major improvements in the expansions, but I'd love to see a more organic behavior from them. Skjalg Posted April 18, 2014 Report Posted April 18, 2014 What struck me as a little weird in the trailer is that they pass earth off as this kind of lost hope because of all the pollution and stuff but in each shot that is taken over one of these huge cities you can see for miles and miles. Wheres the smog? Quote
Sentura Posted April 18, 2014 Report Posted April 18, 2014 This is the future, maybe smog is no longer a problem but nanopollution is? Who knows, this is so far into the future nobody can tell what pollution really is anymore. Quote
RaVaGe Posted April 19, 2014 Report Posted April 19, 2014 I love the trailer, but as a RTS, it quite loos all the vibe, I would love to see a fps in this setting though. Seldoon182 1 Quote
