blackdog Posted November 13, 2014 Report Posted November 13, 2014 Check Steam page. Best seller game on there, most of reviews are thumbs down, lol. -HP- 1 Quote
El Moroes Posted November 13, 2014 Report Posted November 13, 2014 The game impresses me in term of visual, it's really beautiful. However my complaint is the LOD which are too close and too strong. The npc are numerous, I think it's the first time I see many many npc in each streets of a game in a large open world (Hitman did that but the level where small compared with ASC Unity). I think I'll appreciate the game in terms of immersion in this city. I'm sure I'll find the story monotonous but...I didn't took this game for the story Pericolos0, leplubodeslapin, D3ads and 2 others 5 Quote
Bunglo Posted November 14, 2014 Report Posted November 14, 2014 (edited) I was looking forward to this but with all the problems, I'll wait till it comes down in price. Visually it still looks pretty nioce. Also, this whole $60 for a game is bullsh*t. Getting tired of it. Edited November 14, 2014 by Bunglo Quote

Alf-Life Posted November 14, 2014 Report Posted November 14, 2014 Environment art is stunning and makes me want to cry. ...but I'll hold off a little given all the bad press the performance and bugs are getting. Vaya 1 Quote
-HP- Posted November 14, 2014 Report Posted November 14, 2014 That's a shame... But man, watching it in motion in some of these videos, this game looks absolutely phenomenal! The color pallet is very unique and vibrant, reminds me of Rembrandt's artistic style. Really digging the look, amazing environment art too. I'll skip it tho, i picked the last two AC games, only to play them a couple hours and never to pick it up again, so I wont fall into the same trap again. PaulH Posted November 14, 2014 Report Posted November 14, 2014 I got this tonight, about an hour in I was let loose in Paris and while exploring came across a chest. Standard assassins creed loot container I thought, so I went to open it. A message popped up along the lines of "you must play the assassins creed unity companion app to be able to open this chest"....what is happening to games Zarsky, -HP- and Vaya 3 Quote

Sentura Posted November 15, 2014 Report Posted November 15, 2014 I have the same problem with this as I had with AC2: I can't get past the timeperiod/setting. The Renaissance just seems like the most boring time =/ Quote

D3ads Posted November 15, 2014 Report Posted November 15, 2014 The architecture in this game is absolutely blinding, it's a great shame that it's apparently a bug ridden mess gameplay wise... -HP- 1 Quote
