If you have the time for a small preview article. Please consider to take a look at our unique project Red goddess. Inspired by Trine, the Cave, or Mario bros 2 (nes) RED GODDESS is an action/adventure metroidvania game UNIQUE FEATURES: Split the main character and throw yourself to damage enemies, or access out-of-reach areas. Enter the mind of enemies. As Mario going down the green tube to access the underground, You can enter the head of your enemies to access secret chambers with puzzles to solve, and items to loot. Explore a mysterious Planet led by the subconscious of the main character. The whole world is aggressive, and will try to block your way. Now named "Red Goddess: Inner world". +New Character design +Basically the same gameplay mechanics, but more focused into action and combats. +More epic and challenging enemies With the primary funding target achieved so quickly, we've reached our main goal in 15 days. The 3 playable characters have their own unique skills and abilities which bring about different gameplay strategies. Players have to figure out which character is best suited to fight dangerous enemies and get past each challenge. Brawling action meets puzzle platform, combats are turned into puzzles. Explore a mysterious Planet dominated by the subconscious mind of the main character. The Planet itself is a character that players have to interact with and eventually defeat. (Go to “Planet” section for more information) The gameplay boasts a couple of original mechanics, such as “split character”, and “enter the mind of enemies”: Character ball gameplay, you can select only “half” of the main character (either Rage or Fear). The other half is inactive and appears as a ball. You can grab this ball and throw it in order to: damage enemies or gain access to areas that are out of reach. Enter the mind of enemies. Stun your enemies and enter their minds. Taking over their minds is like walking through a door. You will then gain access to new secret chambers with puzzles to solve and lost memories to recover. Unlock Powers. You will have to find and collect memory crystals to unlock new skills and enter new zones. Enemies: Divine’s enemies are her own negative thoughts rebelling against her. She needs to get rid of all of them to be able to unlock the next zone. The dark tunnels hide horrible creatures, followers of Divine´s negative thoughts. Little by little, they are corrupting every part of the planet. Their bodies are practically all made of black fog. Some of them can carry a great bright translucent sphere. It is the entrance door to its mind and to Divine´s lost memories. Player must have to touch this orb to enter the mind of the enemies, this is why many of them carry the orb on the back to protect it. War Golem Boss we want to add with our next stretch goal. We are still working hard on Red goddess, and things has evolved a lot since the last prototype of kikstarter campaign. The graphics are more angulous, we've try to make something more personal... Also the main characters have been drastically redesigned. The gameplay also is more focused into fast action melee combat and platform. We also try to do a big open world in a zelda style, with secret doors, caves, towns, etc... We are working really hard. I hope you like it. TheOnlyDoubleF 1 Quote
