BETA 1 version of hostage rescue map in urban setting - parking lot facility - 64 player spawns - Multiple routes into / out of the building, hostages spawn randomly somewhere on the 3rd and / or 4th floors, info on the rescue points shows as map loads. A night-version of the map will follow.

All of the custom content is embedded in the .BSP map file, simply drop the folders in the .rar it into your csgo/maps folder, along with the .txt, .kv and .nav file. Enjoy

I am a fan of urban/city theme :v so more maps using this theme are always welcome.

I noticed a couple of things in the screenies:

- Your police cars are missing the siren prop on top; the red and blue sprites/particles are floating mid-air. There should be a siren model along the car model in the stock models.

- You probably forgot to add or build your cubemaps as all the car windows are matte instead of shiny reflective.

Good luck :)

I'm not sure what you mean by "siren prop" - there is a lightbar that is part of the white police car model. There is a black and white unit available that they made for L4D that has a secondary prop for the roof, but not for the white car as far as I know. I did build the cubemaps, according to what I have read about CSGO, you cannot disable the HDR for a basic cubemap build, re-enable and then build HDR cubemaps. It seemed to me like there was no reflectance on the items, but for testing I generally have low video settings to test the gameplay with more than a few BOTs. It is possible the cubemaps build has to be embedded into the BSP and while I did scan using VIDE to embed the custom textures and other items I made, the exclusion of the NAV and KV, TXT files in the embedding process is something the workshop recommends, as their system scans your disk for associated files, so perhaps I have to look again and ensure the cubemap build is embedded too. It is a BETA after all, I will have to poke around more and see about the cubemap build for an update. I think you might be better served by actually downloading the map and poking around and enjoying the gameplay and then coming back with some practical advice for me instead of basing your knowledge of it on a few screens I snapped with the video settings too low. Thanks for your comments
