Duff-e Posted January 19, 2005 Report Posted January 19, 2005 i get like 25 fps on that map with 16+ people = no win Quote
TomWithTheWeather Posted January 20, 2005 Report Posted January 20, 2005 i think they should be making the other player models, not new maps. To quote Arnold, "STOP IT! STOP WHINING!" You are getting FREE. QUALITY. CONTENT. The gameplay is not going to get better with more player models. Yup. I like the game better with only one player model for each team. It's less confusing to someone like me who doesn't play CS enough to instantly recognize, out of 8 or 10 skins, who's a T or a CT. Besides, more player models/skins = more memory consumed. Quote
KidDynamite Posted January 20, 2005 Report Posted January 20, 2005 Personally i'm a fan of the new map. I like the colors alot, and it plays pretty well, mainly like it because its something new to me because i never played the CZ version. Quote
Pericolos0 Posted January 20, 2005 Report Posted January 20, 2005 cool it runs super fast on my pc Prolly cos they didnt use any kind of pixel shading as far as i can see Quote
DaanO Posted January 20, 2005 Report Posted January 20, 2005 Its too cluttered IMO. I was constantly sticking on either a model or highly exagerated wall designs. I mean do you really think they needed a pillar every 2 meters in each wall. And call me a NOOB if you must, but where the hell is this place, it looks like disneyland. + Fun + Looks great + Not bad layout - Too many props - Wall supports in hall ways are OVERDONE - A bit cartoonish This sums it up for me pretty well. It can be fun at times, but it doesn't play very well, i really doubt this map is gonna be any popular. I mean shotguns are fun, but when it comes to serious gameplay, this map is a big no-no. I like the look from an artistic point of view, but the map fails when i run a reality check. "Where is this place" is exactly what i thought. I just hope the enviroments in CS2 will be more live-like, it would be good because it would be more convincing, and players would be more dragged into the game. Quote
Algor Posted January 23, 2005 Report Posted January 23, 2005 Finally got to play this map, and I must say... it owns. I love the fast and varied gameplay it has, and it looks sexy as hell. Quote

Well the solution to that is to have the same body with many varied heads and then do different styles per climate and stuff desert snow urban etc gearbox cz had this :: Quote
