Cheers in advance Just out of my head. No. mp3 is like jpg. It is compressed data, ie it deletes some info to make it smaller. Once you made a jpg out of a psd or bmp you can never get that info back. And it is the same with mp3. Sorry But then again im just a nub, so maybe some one has come up with a original texania miracle medecine to cure this? Spellbinder. Quote
OL Posted January 14, 2005 Report Posted January 14, 2005 Of course you can change mp3 quality. easiest way if youre ripping from a cd is just to rip at that quality but after that there are alot of programs that can do it (alot with easy-searchable names like "MP3 QUALITY CONVERTER SOFTWARE.") some might be spyware but i'v had overall good experiences. I got a program somewhere that adds into the menu when i right click mp3s that does this kind of stuff. i have no idea whats its called right now since im not at home but ill look it up. just search google in the meantime] by the way spellbinder, 320 is higher quality than 128 Quote

Euro*Brew Posted January 14, 2005 Report Posted January 14, 2005 I have a program to rip cds, convert wavs to mp3 and mp3s to wav. I just convert the mp3 to wav which takes about a minute and can be done in batches and then convert back to mp3 with a 128 bit rate. Euro*Brew Quote
