Played a bit of this at lunch today, it seems really good so far! The nemesis system seems really good. Gonna play a bit more now

Very tempted to get this. Even though it represents Middle Earth rather poorly (in my opinion) This could be any game really with some orcs. But looks really polished and fun and the PC port is getting congratulated for actually being a good port for once!

Damn, this game is fuckin awesome. I haven't played many of the Assassin's Creed games so I'm not sure how similar it is, but the combat feels so epic. Feels like you're actually battling countless numbers of Orcs. The boss stuff is incredible, every enemy feels really unique! Can't wait to play more!

I worked on this game for maybe 2 years, it has come a really long way since I left! Combat is pretty solid and the orc models look great. Glad they really stuck with the nemesis system, it seems really interesting and unique. Lots of bugs though. Only played about 30 minutes so I am curious to see the scope of the game.

WTF! Not to be selfish and a huge dick but I hoped it would suck!

 

I still got Metro Redux in plastic and I've only touched Wasteland 2 while Destiny is sucking up my time. Alien Isolation and The Evil Within are around the corner and all this positive talk makes me want to get this game as well. Hype machine in my head going: "Get his", "You need this",.....

It's definitely fun. I'm about 8 hours in now, and it is starting to get a little repetitive, and it's sooooooo easy!

So I'm 3 hours in. Here are my thought's that no one cares about:

The start was over so quickly I didn't even notice the game had started. I was beating the shit out of my kid, stalking my wife, then I was suddenly grey, then I was hiding behind a table stabbing some orcs, then I was talking to a grey elf dude I HAD NO IDEA WHAT WAS HAPPENING. Then I'm standing in a tower in Mordor? Wut? Ok then. *Pauses the game for 30 minutes and reads all the game lore*

 

I jump off the tower and start running around killing everything in sight with no real aim or purpose trying to learn the odd controls. An hour later I start paying attention to the objective icons. I meet Gollum, choke slam him, get my finger bitten, my guy gest really angry about it, then go to bed.
