To be clear this is optional guys. ;) I personally just find it easier if everyone knows my name so they're not all 'Who is this weirdo?' on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.

 

If you prefer anonymity that's perfectly fine, lol.

I did it because it's easier to communicate with you all. Personally, I hate using online nicks for normal/serious conversations.

 

To those that are paranoid. Most of you are trying or have already made a name for yourself, using your nick, in design communities. In those communities (where you're known with your nick) you link to portfolio sites, LinkedIn profiles, etc which all use your real name. It's doesn't take an detective to put those two together. The only difference is, people would have to make an effort into doing so and since most are inherently lazy this feature comes as a blessing imo.

I wonder if all my posts in the EOT will make finding a job harder... or easier? xD

 

Too many efforts wasted into trying to make his colleagues laugh... what a shame. Doesn't give himself the means to succeed.
