JAL
Looking good. My first serious hl2dm map is only 20% complete
st0lve
what is it with you and scaling textures sizes UP? Its just ugly. Rather scale them down.

Taylor Swift
This is the factory itself. You can't get inside the building yet but i'll make it real later. Outside area done.
st0lve
Need more statics and less brushbased details. And more trims and stuff, its so plain, it could be HL.
Evert
Need more statics and less brushbased details. And more trims and stuff, its so plain, it could be HL. I'd say it would need more props models and more brushbased details. Atm there is hard to find any, looks ok for a start though.
The Postman
Good start but very HL1 blocky.
skdr
Needs more dramatic lighting. That grey lighting looks boring... Anyway, keep going !
kleinluka
Looks like a good start. Here are some tips: -you have a lot of small differently colored lights. Takes away from the atmosphere and makes it look like a danceclub. Stick to a maximum of 3 different colors in one scene, preferably less unless used cleverly. . In the first pic alone theres white, red, yellow, green and blue. Go for ONE clear lighting theme and stick with that rather than putting a ton of different lights in just for the sake of adding random colors. It needs less randomness and more focused lighting that helps the atmosphere. - the buildings need more details like trims, ventilation shafts, rain pipes, electricity boxes on the roof, etc.. - smooth out your geometry more. All your curbs are completely square right now. Add some slopes, rounden off the corners etc. You're off to a good start here, I'd like to see you improving on the visuals bit more though
von*ferret
not bad but not great. A good start.

Crackerjack
Good start.. but needs a lot more detail and like others have said less blocky
MagicTMP
yeah, i agree. less blocky and more details. try to get more elaborate lighting. and whats with the glows floating above the barracades... looks strange.
von*ferret
one thing you can do is clip the corners off on a 4 unit grid. Just slize a 45 cut in them. Watch out for leaks but it will soften up the corners some.
