That's a shame the concept is awesome but after seeing some gameplay videos of it, it seems to have this "MOBA" feel to it that makes me go meh; more about getting healthbars down than gameplay/visual feedback if you see what i mean. Need to try this out though

Exactly this! There's just nothing at all satisfying about getting a hit.

Yeap, the game is very very fun, only played a few matches but there's a lot of work left to be done in regards to balance, readability, etc.

from what I know it's just new content(characters/maps) and improved already existing features like matchmaking etc.

I blindly preordered it because it's made by turtlerock and they made left 4 dead(my favourite mp game of all time)

 

and it was a dumb move.. don't do the same mistake and buy it once it shows up on a sale if you really want the game.

 

it's not worth the price they're asking for.

Been playing the entire evening with a bunch of friends and we're having a blast with this game. It's pretty damn intimidating at first (there's A LOT to learn and get into up front), but after a couple of rounds then we started getting the hang of it. We were 4 players for most of the evening tho, and whenever you're in a party (2 players or more) in regular online game then it'll never let you play the monster (cuz matchmaking), so we had to do a custom match instead to be able to mix it around like you want (took us a while to figure that out tho).

 

I still kinda doubt the longevity of it, but so far it's been one of the coolest MP/Co-op experiences I've had in a while (tho my hands just sweat uncontrollably when I play the monster ;_; )

Still playing this daily and loving it. I get why some people are down on it, if you're not playing with friends then I can see how the appeal might be somewhat limited.
