Command & Conquer: Renegade X

It's nice to see someone is trying to keep this franchise alive. I'm not sure how fun it'll end up being, but it's nonetheless sweet seeing classic C&C vehicles, buildings, etc in such detail.

It is looking nice and I love me some C&C but the 3D shooter variant is just not.... it.
Also it looks like it will take half an hour to kill someone just like the regular Renegade. I will let this pass.

Soundtrack is compleeeeetely wrong, but this looks pretty cool. Doens't look too different from the first Renegade game!

Man the ion cannon does not nearly pack enough punch like it should. I think the best ion cannon they had in any of the games was in Tiberium Wars... that shit was so satisfying to use. I mean look at this, it really shows how it is a weapon of mass destruction:

Other than that, it looks like the previous Renegade game. I guess it's going to be OK, like the previous game. I think if I wanted to see C&C in a FPS perspective, I'd take a gritty version where tiberium becomes the main obstacle/enemy as you clandestinely attempt to infiltrate hidden buildings in the first world, along with _some_ bases in the third world. This just looks to be Battlefield with C&C.
