PogoP Posted March 5, 2014 Report Posted March 5, 2014 Yeah but that was a marketing video You always get people like that at every company (or so I've found so far), proper brown noses that think the world shines out of the managements' arse. It's never all rosy and nice, there's always stuff bubbling under the surface! Quote
FMPONE Posted March 6, 2014 Report Posted March 6, 2014 I believe i remember reading an artist posting here moved from Crystal Dynamics to Naughty Dog, and several employees interviewed in the "making of", said that ND "feels like a family" Perhaps, but that's kind of a cliche. It'd be more surprising if they didn't say that. Quote
blackdog Posted March 6, 2014 Report Posted March 6, 2014 Yeah... i wasn't able to make a sarcastic post, but that was my intention. FMPONE 1 Quote

Sprony Posted April 22, 2014 Report Posted April 22, 2014 WTF is going at Naughty Dog. First Amy Hennig, then Justin Richmond and now Nate Wells. That's two game directors and a Lead Artist. Quote
Sprony Posted August 4, 2014 Report Posted August 4, 2014 More people left. Lead game designer and narrative design lead depart for Call of Duty studio Should we be worried? Quote
PogoP Posted August 4, 2014 Report Posted August 4, 2014 After a long project, you do normally get quite a big staff turnaround. From my experience, a lot of people, myself included, suffer from 'grass is always greener' syndrome (an actual medical condition), where you always see the flaws of the company you work for, and think things are always gonna be better elsewhere. Chances are, other studios will just have their own set of problems, and things won't neccessarily be better. But who knows, that's just from my experience. e-freak, Grinwhrl, dux and 1 other 4 Quote

Alf-Life Posted August 4, 2014 Report Posted August 4, 2014 Wow, that certainly bodes well for the story in Ghosts 2, looking forward to it, although who really knows who does what any more... we've all worked at places, I'm sure, where titles and influence/talent haven't always matched... Regarding the Uncharted 2 vs 3 debate a couple of pages (and months) back... I much preferred 2, but I don't know why. On paper, 3 is just as amazing. I think it's a weird combination of things, 2 being 'right time, right place' and 3 being more of the same (less step up from 2 to 3 than 1 to 2, for example). And then niggly things like I remember the aiming being too sensitive or something in 3, but could've been the AI moving around more... I'd need to look at both again. 2d-chris 1 Quote
Warby Posted August 4, 2014 Report Posted August 4, 2014 i hope uncharted 4 will still be awesome though -_- Quote

Because I want a job there. blackdog 1 Quote
