Uncharted 4

I've finally took the time to play it. Fater started it 2 years ago, I stopped to play for some reason and then I lost all savegames on my PS4 (Bloodborne, bwaaaaah).

The game really is mind blowing and will inspirate me for a few years for sure. I really regret not playing it before but for some reason it was very hard for me to plug the PS4 but I have now a setting that made everything easier.

Well ... It's better to play this masterpiece late than never :x 

It's the kind of game that is so polished and so great that it won't age too fast anyway

My setup is a wife watching TV . Now i installed my ps4 on my desk and use the display my company provided me, a huuuuuuge one .

Also it's just that I'm more a PC player.

Ah got it! I'm lucky my partner goes to bed early so I have free reign from around 21:30  Uncharted is the last game I played on the PS, I'll slowly work my way up to #4. I didn't want to play all them one after the other, think I'd get burned.

Uncharted 4 has been re-released for PS5 with better resolution and framerate.

Worth getting? See what Digital Foundry says

You'll unfortunately have to settle with the two latest entries. A bit strange that they won't bring the first 3 as well now that they're at it.

Have they even announced this version coming to PC as well?

It feels it’s just a matter of time that they do, considering all the other entries… I haven’t kept track of how frequent were the announcements/releases, but considering GoW just came out must be at least 6 months before any Uncharted comes through?

Yes Uncharted 4 and Lost Legacy are getting a PC release, no precise date yet except early 2022. But as Zarsky said I don't think Uncharted 1, 2 and 3 are planned on PC at all.

They'd need to bring the first 3 to the same engine as U4, not exactly a copy paste straightforward thing to do, but who knows maybe it's what they're doing while the pandemic still lasts. It'd be the perfect WFH task to hand over to the team for a couple years, tbh.

Ah wow I missed that announcement. Doesn’t seem Sony is rolling their drums on these, it’s more the community/media that pumps it.

Yeah, didn't assume it would be just a copy paste job. What I'm thinking is that they have all 3 games running on PS4, so the leap to PC shouldn't be as huge as porting from the PS3 versions.....and if they're introducing the series to a new platform, it would make sense to have the first parts too, especially as the characters are developed quite a bit in the original trilogy.
