dux
There was a 1.6 map of the same name with some pretty similar locations. I guess stuff is all starting to run together at last
Hashtag
I didn't know about the 1.6 map. Our layout is totally new. We are also currently using a temporary name. The map will have a new name as soon as we will merge our "art" map with this layout.
El Moroes
Perhaps you should ask for a test here :
Hashtag
Here is an update with some new pictures of our map. These screens show our "art" map where we work on textures, new props ... etc..Many things are still work in progress and your comments are welcome. Our aim is to create a map based on Paris with new streets props and facades. (EDIT : screen update with less contrast) And if you have time, our gray layout (1rst post) is still in the testing phase. Your feedbacks would be very useful for us. Moroes> thanks for the tips, we should try this soon. Edited November 17, 2013 by Hashtag esspho, RaVaGe, penE and 7 others
Jpley
Hey Guys, I just wanna add some details about this. We just wanted to add some 'art test' screenshots to be a little bit more appealing to you, so you can have a more concrete idea of what our goals are. Keep in mind that all the texture/ modeling work is still very WIP . We're currently hardly working on the layout of the map to get a strong design before going deeper into the art job. So if you could try it with few friends and give us a maximum feedbacks about it, we would deeply appreciate it Cheers Edited November 17, 2013 by Kanee General Vivi
mjens
Nice work! Can you post a screenshot of that corner with and without meshes? I'd like to see how much brushes you've used
Pampers
waay to much contrast
Puddy
Looks good, but perhaps a bit too much contrast like Mr. Pampers said. Makes me think of Seine Crossing from BF3!
Hashtag
No problem. Next time, we will take care of the contrast. Keep in mind we didn't really work the lighting. It's juste a basic sun to work; that's true our shadow are too dark. PogoP
Very nice! I was saying to Puddy yesterday that this reminds me of Battlefield, the Seine Crossing level. So good job
Hashtag
Cool, thanks guys. mr.P> We already have a tunnel which link the rail track and the bomb site A. It's a typical subway hallway in the aim to keep the thematic of Paris.
Hashtag
Hi, it's been a while since our latest post. We took in count your feedbacks from the latest playtest. We now have a similar layout with : - more covers on the path of the bomb site A - more covers on the path of the bomb site B - the bomb site B has been moved a bit (in the subway) - there is a new access to join the subway in the middle part - there is a new access to access to the bomb site A (via a ladder) - the map is brighter The purpose of this post is to organize new playtests. A new version of the map will be available soon. As usual your feedbacks in any domains would be really appreciated. So if you have time, feel free to test our map and thank you in advance. Here a visual update with new screenshots. A lot of props are still placeholder (still grey or in flat color), however I think that our actual version is close to a final result : Edited January 20, 2014 by Hashtag General Vivi, johan26, leplubodeslapin and 30 others
