Rambo The Video Game

Yeah I played through this last night, and here's my verdict: It's pretty awful.

 

2.5 hours long, entire levels being QTE's and the game gives you a perk right off the bat that makes QTEs not fail ever, weapon-selection is unnecessary as you are locked to what Rambo used it the movies in that setting (you can unlock more but the requirements are stupid), enemies in the later stages come in such quantities I do not believe you can finish this with a gamepad, spending skillpoints on upgrades other than damage resistance is not needed as all enemies die of one headshot plus all weapons are pinpoint accurate, and they want at least 30 euros for this.

 

The only plus is that the game is using the original voices directly from the movies, but it feels out of place with the bad sound quality, plus the quality of it shifts between good and bad, even in the same cutscenes.

10/10 OH MY GOD 10/10 WOW THIS IS THE BEST GAME IN LAST 10 YEARS!!!! THE BEST SHOOTER, THE BEST GRAPHICKS, THE BEST ANIMATION! I WANT CHILDREN FROM THIS GAME!!!

i wonder why they did that - i mean the top shot doesn't even look that expensive to render - did they release this on the consoles?

according to the 'le reddit', bottom shot is from pc on max setttings

yes, 'le reddit" is true. Promo shots are way better looking that MAX PC setting, i was asking dev's why thats, cause the scenes (look more or less the same) but the post process and  color grading are way better on promoshots



Just like this one, the scene looks the same, but the contrast, fog, and colorgrading is fucked up . . .
