I can't deny it, I've always had a soft spot for The Sims. I found #3 quite a disappointment though, due to performance issues and some other things I forget now.

Here's a little-known Thrik fact: The Sims 3 is what finally made me move out into my own home years ago. I was spending so much time in the game making my own meals, taking care of my own home, etc that I started thinking... what the fuck am I doing this in a game for when I could be out there doing it for real? So within a month I got a flat in another city and moved in.

I really like the way they're doing Sim customisation now. Being able to just drag around the Sims' bodies to reshape them to make giant asses and stuff is so much better than the horrible slider-based way of doing it that's in everything from Mass Effect to Skyrim. It's about time this shit was improved and hopefully we'll see something like this in any game with customisable characters from now on.

Anyway... it's The Sims. You pretty much know what you're getting, although apparently there's going to be a lot more emotional depth to the Sims. It's kind of hilarious that they claim to have all these realistic new psychological things in place then in the trailer a guy is sent into a deep depression while in the middle of chatting up some girl by some hipster dude playing on the violin.  :???:

Also it looks like for the first time they've seriously evolved the tools for building, etc. It seems ironic that they've simplified the tools for building houses by making them more like working with rectangle primitives in 3DS.

They now have a mod for the sims 3 where you can customize the penis size on the male. And also customize the breast size and what the nipples look like. You need to update your game in order for it to work properly.

This game is gonna be shit, you all have no idea how bad it's going to be. You've deluded yourselves into thinking it's going to be jam packed with tons of things to do when in reality, you're going to be spending over $100 dollars on store content and expansion packs. Yo don't realize it until this game fucks up your computer. Even some of the best gaming PC's can't even handle the Sims 3 because it's so picky about what system it'll work for, it's like trying to get a kid to eat their vegetables.  The Sims 1 and Sims 2 had more content than this and the Sims 3. EA has always been and still is a blood thirsty company siphoning the money from all of you. Hardcore Sims fans will be sucked in and before they know it, their money is now forfeited to EA.

No pools
No toddlers
no create-a-style
no editing community lots
Only one neighborhood(with fewer lots than the Sims 3 and Sims 1)

Some of these things that have been staples in the series since #1
I will never understand why you are all hyped for this game, it looks beautiful but that's to hide EA slapping their greedy dicks.
I need you all to know where i'm coming from, I'm was and still am a die-hard Sims fan. I played since #1, and gave up on the series at the end of the Sims 3. I stick to the Sims 2 now and looking at this. I shudder at what this is going to turn into.
This isn't Sims, It's "DLC: the game"

(and no, I'm not some idiot of JUST plays the Sims, I play Skyrim, Smash Bros, Resident Evil, pretty much everything out there, I love Sims because I grew up playing it, I don't know why everyone's insulting fans here but I thought I would clear things up regarding that)

Y'all KNOW dat shit, muthafucka!

In short nothing changes. The Sims has always been the number 1 DLC game, in fact they might even have made the whole concept mainstream? At least it's the first game I can remember that had this many "expansion" packs.

Sims 2:

Expansion packs:

- University

- Night Life

- Open for business

- Pets

- Seasons

- Bon Voyage

- FreeTime

- Apartment Life

Content packs:

- Holiday Party Pack

- Family Fun Stuff

- Glamour Life Stuff

- Happy Holiday Stuff

- Celebration! Stuff

- H&M Fashion Stuff

- Teen Style Stuff

- Kitchen & Bath Interior Design Stuff

- IKEA Home Stuff

- Mansion & Garden Stuff

Srsly tho, can't wait for the dept collector to come pay a visit, pause the game, build a fence around him, and see him die of starvation.

Then have his ghost haunt me and my chick while we play under the sheets.
