blackdog Posted January 5, 2014 Author Report Posted January 5, 2014 (edited) Not really ~Yesterday, brunch. Baked-gratin eggs on top of a bread'n'butter and chopped tomato sauce bed.I baked a few minutes the bread before covering it with the sauce, which i prepared separately stir frying garlic and onions first to give it more taste.Quite yummy! The nice thing is it keeps warm for the time it takes me to eat through something like this. Edited January 5, 2014 by blackdog ⌐■_■ and AlexM 2 Quote
Sentura Posted January 5, 2014 Report Posted January 5, 2014 The personal chef suggestion doesn't sound too bad honestly. blackdog 1 Quote
AlexM Posted January 7, 2014 Report Posted January 7, 2014 This was my favorite thing I've cooked this year. The main thing is pureeing spinach and adding it to the rice dish. It's about 50% rice, 50% shallots, garlic, tomatoes and spinach. FrieChamp, ⌐■_■, Sentura and 1 other 4 Quote

blackdog Posted January 14, 2014 Author Report Posted January 14, 2014 Cod fillets in a simple tomato+garlic+onion+celery sauce. And even the most plain pasta is nice when you have olive oil and some real parmesan ("pasta in bianco"). I then added some of the sauce in which i cooked the cod fillets since it was abundant And with the new phone the pics are much better now. AlexM 1 Quote

blackdog Posted January 15, 2014 Author Report Posted January 15, 2014 When in Italy i used to eat pasta almost every day... i'm not totally surprised that doing a physical job plus not eating all those carbs i got even fittier. I'm surprised i'm doing it by eating all the cakes we get here though. dux and FMPONE 2 Quote
AlexM Posted January 25, 2014 Report Posted January 25, 2014 I had a rotten banana and some puff pastry so I mixed the banana with orange yogurt and put the mixture inside like a giant empanada or something. It was awesome. Burrito with salad and pureed carrot dressing + homemade guacamole Crepe stuffed with spinach, tuna and camembert (I used to be a crepe chef for a couple years) Roasted sweet potatoes with aioli And finally, a cot dang Bacon Avocado sandwich knj, ⌐■_■, dux and 2 others 5 Quote
dux Posted January 26, 2014 Report Posted January 26, 2014 Any tips for roast sweet potatoes? Amount of oil, temprature, etc? Mine don't always turn out so good. Not sure if I'm cutting them too thin or what, and they all stuck together too. Quote
