knj Posted April 22, 2014 Report Posted April 22, 2014 I've moved up to supersetting and involving a lot more drop sets into my routine for the past couple of weeks and I'm sure as hell feeling it. this is a lot of fun. main issue with this i had is adrenals. you can go like a beast for a few months, maybe even a year, but you will be tanking yourself long term. Eventually your adrenal system just says "nah" not if he gets enough food (calories) which he dont, and if he gets enough sleep (rest) which he dont Quote
dux Posted April 22, 2014 Report Posted April 22, 2014 If I dropped a picture in here you wouldn't be saying that. And besides, it's not a long term tool that I will be using, I know the deal. Quote

selmitto Posted May 24, 2014 Report Posted May 24, 2014 I've been going to the gym with a few friends/ co-workers for a few weeks already and I'm already feeling a lot better. I had no idea I was missing those exercises, lol Quote
Sprony Posted May 27, 2014 Report Posted May 27, 2014 The only thing that keeps you playing a corean MMORPG are your friends. They keep you coming back because you want to hang out with them. They encourage you and make the grinding feel less strenuous. So, let's share them gym/jogging/healthcare stories and keep each other on track and motivated? Am I still going to be on the gym next month? What about you? In the past, the Core has been there for me. You helped me overcome work, you rooted for me when I my job and you celebrated when I got very close to becoming a freelance game journalist. Now, I need you guys again. It's what Arhurt said when he created this topic, I need motivation and encouragement. That's a lot for me to admit and I feel pretty vulnerable right now. Ever since I quit smoking I've steadily been gaining weight. I used to be pumped up, full six pack and everything, but then I had an accident which ruined my knees. I gained a bit off weight after that but nothing major. I went from 83 kilo to 89 kilo. After I got married (4 years ago) I quite smoking. Over the past 4 years I tried several comebacks at the gym, diets, etc but they all failed eventually (lack of discipline). So throughout those years I went up and down and today I peeked at 106,2 kilo. Now I realize I substituted one addiction for another. I need help. Normally I would go back to the gym, have another run at it, tell my friends (who probably already think, here we go again) and so on. Today, I decided that this method obviously doesn't work. Instead of immediately trying to run at full speed I should first start with crawling. So no gym memberships and extreme diets. No, I'm going to start with my eating habits. The first step is dropping all the junk food, chocolate, soda's, etc and try to eat more regularly and healthy. What do I need the Core for? Well, I want to use this topic (unless you all prefer I split this into a separate topic) to daily post what I've eaten and take it from there. It would be cool if people hunt me down if I don't post, offer insights into what I'm eating and any other suggestions. I'm going to do the same with my friends and my wife. So instead of going all out with everything at once I'm relying on my offline and online environment for much needed help in detoxing from all this crap. What does the Core say? Quote
dux Posted May 27, 2014 Report Posted May 27, 2014 The core says yes. The core also says track track track! http://www.myfitnesspal.com/ Sprony 1 Quote
