Sjonsson Posted July 13, 2013 Report Posted July 13, 2013 Hi everyone! Since Chivalry: Medieval Warfare 2 has an SDK now I jumped right to it and started to create a map. I decided that the first map I make for Chivalry is going to be a Team Deathmatch / Last Team Standing map following an arena theme. Here's my first image, it's kind of messy and once it gets a little more cleaned up I'll post some top-downs and explain my thoughts behind the design. Quote
Sjonsson Posted July 14, 2013 Author Report Posted July 14, 2013 Here's some progress! Don't know if you see any changes but the fortress in the middle is taking shape with towers and a spikey pit of death in the middle. Quote
TarrySruman Posted July 14, 2013 Report Posted July 14, 2013 Oh man I didn't know that the SDK was even available. Gotta make dem castles Sjonsson 1 Quote
JeanPaul Posted July 14, 2013 Report Posted July 14, 2013 I think you really need to flesh it out some more before we can give any feedback. Quote
Sjonsson Posted July 14, 2013 Author Report Posted July 14, 2013 have you ever playtested it ? Nope, I've just worked for it over one day, but that will come soon enough! Oh man I didn't know that the SDK was even available. Gotta make dem castles Oh boy you really should, so much fun! I think you really need to flesh it out some more before we can give any feedback. You are all right, is it standard on this forum to make your first post when you already have a playable, fleshed out map? My idea was to just keep posting in this thread of how my progress goes.
