BanJaxe Posted June 27, 2013 Report Posted June 27, 2013 (edited) I'm trying to update on the workshop but it keeps failing for some unknown reason. Every time I try it seems to upload like normal for a minute or two and then I get the message "Failed to update file! Please try again later". Well it's been like that for almost 24 hours now. I've tried searching around but it looks like no-one else is having this problem. So is anyone else getting this or had this before? Also if anyone knows who I could email at Valve about it that would be useful too. Thanks. edit: I just tried to publish it as a new item and that also failed. "Failed to publish file." Sigma Posted June 27, 2013 Report Posted June 27, 2013 Have you updated your SDK to the most recent version (it was just released yesterday)? That would be where I start if not... http://store.steampowered.com/news/10962/ Are you having trouble with any other steam related programs? Quote
BanJaxe Posted June 27, 2013 Author Report Posted June 27, 2013 (edited) Aha, I did see that and thought it might be related. I'm downloading it now so I'll post again with the results. Thanks a lot. Edited June 27, 2013 by BanJaxe Quote
BanJaxe Posted June 27, 2013 Author Report Posted June 27, 2013 (edited) Unfortunately that didn't help, I'm still getting the error using the CSGO map publisher. Not having any other steam problems as far as I know. I'm suspicious it broke at the same time they released the new SDK so I'm not sure what's going on. Edited June 27, 2013 by BanJaxe Quote
BanJaxe Posted June 28, 2013 Author Report Posted June 28, 2013 Well it magically just started working again. I've no idea what I did to fix it. Quote
mjens Posted June 28, 2013 Report Posted June 28, 2013 Now that's a spirit of Source SDK! LATTEH 1 Quote
Spherix Posted June 28, 2013 Report Posted June 28, 2013 Best place to ask for those kind of problems would still be the steam forums such as http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=1413 or the general SDK forum there. Quote
