They spammed this HD interview+walkthrough from IGN.

Questions that arised now that I understand more about how should the game work:

  • what if my randomly assigned buddies are a-holes and rush the attack, or the armory, can I enjoy and explore all the fine details of the location, or I get kicked out of the quest or something?
  • the final sequence is the beginning of a PvP shoot-out, which will make me loose my stuff if we don't win
    • what if my group wins, do i get extracted to some lobby (area) breaking the immersion?
    • what if i don't want to get extracted, can I proceed on another mission/exploration and don't trigger the event?

I showed my friends last night (who are all PC gamers) and they were all super hyped to have us play as a group in this beautiful game. Now it looks like we won't be able to. :(!!!

The guy in the chopper makes me believe he was "playing" from a tablet.

On your smart phone or tablet, join your friends in real-time gameplay with exclusive characters. The app gives you a bird’s eye view of the battlefield, the ability to attack enemies and to place targets for your allies or enhance their capabilities.

I want this game. And I want an PS4. Or for PC.

This game looks so beautiful - that amount of detail is incredible. If they are actually recreating a full detailed NYC I am going to poop myself. I am very sad there is no PC version planned. Although it has a pvp game involved, so the PC gamers would absolutely trounce any consoler 8[

Keep in mind that most of these E3 videos were "rendered" frame by frame on a much larger resolution than the final game, kinda like UDK's tiledshot ;)

Still looks pretty amazing!

That's a point. I read that Sony is pushing developers to maintain 1080p and 60 FPS. I hope it happens because 720p doesn't look so hot when you have jaggies, and the sub-720p resolutions that some current-gen games cheat by using look downright awful.

Honestly, I'd rather have some things scaled back if it means compromising 1080p. I know it was probably necessary with the current generation to squeeze satisfactory graphics out of the GPUs, but not any more.

@Thrik PS4 and Xbox One aren't that impressive hardware wise, I doubt devs will be able to keep 1080p for longer than a couple of years. Multiplatform titles will suffer the most obviously although it might be stretched a bit now that their architecture is similar. (Pretty much how it was this generation, the early titles were 1080p right?)

I'm all for it though, definitely 60FPS! But I'm a bit skeptical cos it's not that big of a leap forward, at least if you compare it to PC's now. It feels like they're just catching up but will be late to the party :s

What do you mean by that last statement? That graphics are decent enough now that we should be able to stall and maintain 60FPS + 1080p?
