-HP- Posted August 20, 2013 Report Posted August 20, 2013 Feels like a hybrid of Unreal Tournament with CoD and Mechs. Jebus... recipe for awesome! Like... YES! I have been waiting for a proper fast paced game since Quake 3. Sprony 1 Quote
-HP- Posted August 20, 2013 Report Posted August 20, 2013 Fucking hell I must have seen that trailer like 5 times, Wall jump, fast strafing and double jumps! This game is made for me... holy cow! I was mildly excited about this after e3, but with this new footage, I'm pretty much sold on it, this might as well be the next "CoD" franchise in terms of popularity, it looks really fun and smooth!! Evert Posted August 20, 2013 Report Posted August 20, 2013 Yeah this looks like a lot of fun, looking forward to it! Quote
Puddy Posted August 20, 2013 Report Posted August 20, 2013 I think the futurustic setting and mechs will prevent it from gaining the same appeal as CoD. But that's just a guess. Besides, who want's to be CoD when you can be fucking awesome instead? Looking forward to this! Grinwhrl and FMPONE 2 Quote
Zyn Posted August 20, 2013 Report Posted August 20, 2013 One thing this game does is remind you of "SHOGO: Mobile Armor Division". -HP-, AlexM and Grinwhrl 3 Quote

blackdog Posted September 1, 2013 Report Posted September 1, 2013 (edited) Digital Foundry: So are you still using the original Valve tools for things like level design?Drew McCoy: At this point I hate to say that it's the Source Engine. but thenDigital Foundry: In the same way that saying Call of Duty uses the Quake 3 engine?Drew McCoy: Yeah, I mean we've replaced... it's a whole new renderer, all-new audio code, all-new net code, all-new input code for gamepad. There's some stuff that we've just improved but we've done massive changes. We have our own level editor, we have our own lighting, the way that maps are compiled... -HP- Posted September 1, 2013 Report Posted September 1, 2013 There is no single-player, dude. I'm out then What, why? I would rather see a whole team dedicating themselves to a SP or MP experience, than having to split their time to both SP and MP and typically when this happens either one or the other suffers big time, so in the end it ends up being just one more bulletpoint on the back of the case than a worthwhile experience for gamers.
