I actually really liked both modes, though I only played them through Variety pack.

I'm hoping for a server browser in the future and a return of these!

Absolutely moronic. Myself and all my friends that got the game played CTF exclusively, we didn't play anything else. And we never had any issue in finding a CTF match.

 

I loved the game up until now but I won't be playing much, if at all, anymore.

 

I, and all of my friends that played the game (6 of us in total, a full team) are incredibly disappointed at this, to be frank, ludicrous decision.

Same, only played 2 matches of CTF with different teams where we got our asses kicked, never touched it again. This game is pretty much only Hardpoint and Attrition for me, with an occasional LTS, cuz I'm so generic.

 

Also haven't played it in ages, really didn't last that long for me :G (Tho I did play it for like 40 hours over 3 days at launch lulzes)

I actually really liked LTS. Gave the game more of a tactical vibe as lives/titans are so finite. Like you, I haven't played for a while. It's a great game and I can see myself going back to it at any point but right now my "game of choice" is CS:GO and that is hogging most of my time.

I think it comes with the territory (for good or worse) now that games are seen as evolving titles instead of just static, boxed releases. Just about any change of any game can be criticized if you apply this reasoning. I agree, however, that it seems like a bad move.

Definitely an unforced error, but it seems like the commitment is there to try to remedy it.

I'm still playing on Xbone.  I have to admit matchmaking got pretty rough for a while when (to me) it felt like every match was totally lopsided in terms of vets vs. noobs balance but in the last couple weeks I've noticed it seems to be better.  Keep up the good work, Respawn... MP balance is always harder than it looks.
