In my experience, the smart pistol actually requires some skill to use effectively. It's a very situational weapon and not a good of an all-rounder as the R101C.

Also, is there a way to upscale the game? Running the game in lower res then your monitor will make it run in a smaller square, so annoying.

Loving the C.A.R SMG. Excellent with the counterweight attachment and the Run N' Gun perk, just storming around and fucking shit up, plus it can actually do some pretty decent work on long range with a little bit of patience, it's pretty much the only kit I play with in Hardpoint. At least to me it feels like the only real alternative to the R-101C (tho the G2A4 rifle is pretty nice too). After the beta I still haven't tried the Smart Pistol once, I suck at getting the lock on people and always just end up using it in aimed mode which kiiiinda eliminates its purpose.

Smart pistol, is good, but this is not the golden gun, rembember you need 3 locks on enemy pilot, that is a shit load of time. Anyways I have a feeling that beta was running more smooth that the final game (?) And we need to play togetha, just for that i've bought a headset with mic

Ive just finished the Militia campain (how i can change to IMC ? ) and this game is great, even the singleplayer was cool knowing that it was regular multiplayer mach. As for graphics and map design this is just epic and knowing that this is source GOD DAMN even i play on low just to get this moving really fast and smooth

Ive just finished the Militia campain (how i can change to IMC ? ) and this game is great, even the singleplayer was cool knowing that it was regular multiplayer mach. My biggest issue so far is the small player amount on the maps, when half of the opposing team are in titans, you only have 3 other people to fight against on a whole map. Bots don't count. So on hardpoint you just run back and forth between each point and maybe spot one opponent if you are lucky, and that gets old fast. Love the infantry combat when you first find a couple of enemies though, but a bigger player number would help, or a inf only gamemode. But then again I just maybe want cod gameplay with jetpacks Also there is no teamwork what so ever, and very little gameplay incentive to push for teamwork. Still enjoying the game though
