JoshuaKlint Posted June 5, 2013 Report Posted June 5, 2013 (edited) I feel like map design is something that has been sort of lost in a lot of modern game development tools. I got my start in technology making maps for Quake and Half-Life, and I want to bring level design back to the forefront of game development. I just launched a Greenlight campaign for Leadwerks here: http://steamcommunit...s/?id=145716110 Basically, we made a modern game development tool with a built-in CSG/BSP editor. We're also working with the Steam SDK to integrate Steam features into the engine, like Workshops and support for Valve's asset formats. I'm posting here because I know you guys will "get" it, and value a lot of the same things I do in game design. f you like what we're doing, please vote for it in Greenlight and help me get it on Steam. Thanks for the support! I hope that wasn't spammy. Edited June 5, 2013 by JoshuaKlint Chimeray, Vilham, selmitto and 2 others 5 Quote
blackdog Posted June 6, 2013 Report Posted June 6, 2013 (edited) Upped, of course. This is a no-brainer even if one is not using it. I'll spam it around and try to get you some additional votes. Edited June 6, 2013 by blackdog Quote
Chimeray Posted June 6, 2013 Report Posted June 6, 2013 Reminds me of the DarkBasic and GameMaker days Good to see it's using LUA and not some custom language! Upvoted. Quote
