blackdog Posted June 5, 2013 Report Posted June 5, 2013 i'd hate living in a house Woa, why? You love the music of the neighbors waking up before you do, or them flushing the toilet at the most strange hours? Quote
Sentura Posted June 5, 2013 Report Posted June 5, 2013 I like environment noises, I'd have a hard time sleeping without them. Plus it's always nice to go outside and see that people are still alive in the world. In housing areas or in suburbs and rural areas in general there is a lot less traffic. Stuff like music through the walls or flushing toilets only happens in bad apartments? I rarely experience bothering music, never experienced people flushing toilets through the walls. Plus if your apartment is on a later floor, you get an excellent view. A throne fit for a King. TarrySruman 1 Quote
-HP- Posted June 5, 2013 Report Posted June 5, 2013 In a way I'm lucky cos I'm the "noisy neighbor" not the other way around... Sentura 1 Quote
alecmoody Posted June 5, 2013 Report Posted June 5, 2013 [nice setup] What keyboard is that? I'd guess mechanical but can't recognize among those i've read about. Also is very compact, is it a layout? its a noppoo choc mini. Cherry blues, plate mounted, and tiny. Quote
blackdog Posted June 6, 2013 Report Posted June 6, 2013 (edited) Yeah, probably; i'm convinced in Italy they build like shit, most of the apartments i remember visiting, you can hear annoying sounds from neighbours (unless particular cases). I intend to relocate soon, my concern/fear is if I can adjust to a more lively area... i live in a terraced house (luckily the one at the beginning) and i'm just outside my (little) town, so the only "noise" i get to enjoy are birds singing around but i can cycle ten minutes and be in the town centre. Everything is usually fine, except for these last days: a neighbour in the building aside is fucking merging two apartments and it's all day drilling and hammering down walls, i feel like i either punch through my eardrum or kill someone @alec: ty! Never had one yet; seems very very nice... compact keybs are nice for ergonomics (mouse is closer for right-handed) but I never get used to those secondary functions for the numpad, even if i don't use it that much. Thrik Posted June 6, 2013 Author Report Posted June 6, 2013 Taken in october, but not a lot has changed. See that hole in the corner of the room covered by a blue plastic computer case panel? Thats where my wild squirrel pets used to live until I got an exterminator to plug the hole with some expanding foam. Looks very cosy and nice. I like those lights, I should get some for my love room. Quote
Sprony Posted June 6, 2013 Report Posted June 6, 2013 (edited) Ok, this is what I currently got hooked up at the TV. It's by far not everything but does give a good impression of my console setup. Oh and there's some wife stuff in there too. Edited June 6, 2013 by SpronyvanJohnson Quote
Chimeray Posted June 6, 2013 Report Posted June 6, 2013 (edited) Xbox 360, PS3, Denon AVR, Samsung D7005 55", Dali Zenzor 7 speakers. You can almost see my small desk where I play on a laptop on the right, but I mostly output it through my TV and play with a controller. I'd want to complete my sound system to an all surround but I'm gonna wait till I buy my own place. As you can see it's not a dedicated entertainment room, I live in a studio but it's got everything I need right now Edited June 9, 2013 by Chimeray Quote

I live directly in the center, 5-10 minutes walk from work.Close to all the parties, restaurants, museum, events, ... It is more expensive, but very convenient. Sentura and selmitto 2 Quote
