Z3LCIAH Posted March 11, 2014 Author Report Posted March 11, 2014 Yeah the Journeyman bit sounds new, we did the advanced game dev project in the final year though. My time at Teesside was good, even if I spent a lot of the last 2 years locked away working on both uni work and portfolio pieces Good luck with Expotees, we did that too, was a good chance to speak to people from some of the local development studios...if you get to that stage it's worth taking e-mail addresses from various studios and forwarding on your portfolio for them to check out, so make sure it's all updated by that point (and mark anything on it as 'in progress' if it doesn't yet exist) Your final project looks interesting, update it when you're further along, will be interesting to see how it turns out I've recently started a thread showing off the updates of my FYP here: Quote
Z3LCIAH Posted May 7, 2014 Author Report Posted May 7, 2014 (edited) I've updated my portfolio with some more content. (Torque racing HUD & Other Worldly Wizardry). Other Worldly Wizardry is still being developed but i felt it's at a good point to demonstrate the game mechanics in which i can receive feedback from. Regarding any HUD/UI work, do you think it's best to either group all that work together under one category or separate them just as i am doing?. I wouldn't want the first page to look too cluttered. - University is comming to an end now, just got a few more weeks left so it's time for me to get my portfolio together and better organised before i can venture into the big bad world!. Appreciate the feedback!. Edited May 7, 2014 by Z3LCIAH Quote
