Looks good. If the whole game is the same sword/shield stuff it's going to get old, but if things are kept fresh with new weapons and/or moves it should be pretty sweet.

I've read elsewhere that Game Informer bashed it with something like "it's fun as much as it is pushing numbers on a phone".

I understand the choice made for responsiveness, but that immediateness in the animations isn't that good to look at. Gives a feeling of those old cabinet browlers though, it may be something you don't notice after playing a while.

Real problem seems to be combat variation... anyways, something i'd like to try and see how does it feel. Before Batman I didn't like this kind of games at all, now the feeling of rewards from those huge combos is addicting.

I do hope that there's something else than just stabbing people in the face, so far that's all that's been shown from the game and that's bound to get old if it's absolutely all you do. Visually it looks incredible~~really makes me want an open world game in that setting~

I don't understand how stabbing people in the face, guts, balls, and cutting arms, legs, heads can ever get boring. I would buy a Xbox One just for that.

It can get boring when people know better, 10 years ago it wouldn't.

this is obviously a matter of personal taste, but for me this is far more interesting than having another FPS where you shoot bullets (and all it's variants) at the enemy from far away. It's refreshing to see a proper game using a combat system like this, and for me that is enough of a selling point.

I'm looking at this the same way I looked at mirrors edge for example, it stands out in the crowd.

Yeah but Batman had a lot other things to do while at it + all the gadgets.

Yeah as I said, doesn't seem to offer combat variation :(

cmon, at least play the game before you judge it.

Is saying "seems", judging? O.o
