D3ads Posted November 20, 2013 Report Posted November 20, 2013 Well that was probably one of the best films set in space ever made, absolutely fantastic from start to finish! Great 3D use as well, I was literally blinking when the debris was flying through the air! My only issue was; Ryan can somehow pilot a Russian space vessel just by reading the manual... lol. She struggles with the Chinese one, must be all the funny symbols Anyway, I enjoyed the film a lot, was a nice ride! -HP- 1 Quote
knj Posted November 20, 2013 Report Posted November 20, 2013 that spinoff was fucking great ! -HP- 1 Quote

She did say she'd spent some time in the simulator so she had at least some knowledge of how the Soyuz worked I guess? Saw this a couple of days ago and loved it. Saw it in old fashioned 2D since my friend doesn't like 3D and thought it was probably the best space-based film I've ever seen. Very very tense throughout and there were some lovely shots in it. Kinda makes me not want to go to space since if anything goes wrong up there you're fucked xD Not that I'm ever going to get to go to space anyway! Quote
knj Posted November 21, 2013 Report Posted November 21, 2013 man you've lost at least half of the experience cause to the 2d ;/ Quote

blackdog Posted December 8, 2013 Report Posted December 8, 2013 Just seen it at IMAX 3D, fucking awesome! Though perfect seats would have probably been 2 rows lower, which I couldn't book. Quote
tr0nic Posted December 10, 2013 Report Posted December 10, 2013 (edited) Btw, I told you guys I would tell you how it went when I saw it with my dad. Well it was super awesome, he loved it and was really impressed by the 3D effects. Only thing that sucks in IMAX 3D theathers are the horrible seats. My dad fractured his back 20 years ago. He became very sensitive to all the bad chairs. Good thing the movie was not too long because he was about to get up and leave haha! Edited December 10, 2013 by tr0nic -HP- 1 Quote
Erratic Posted May 12, 2014 Report Posted May 12, 2014 Oh yeah this movie was great. I haven't been keeping track but I'd bet 10 dollars everyone on the internet hates it. Quote
