So, after the announcement and an intriguing "cover" image (above) a couple months ago, Telltale came out showing off the stuff:

Am I the only one that finds the art fan-tas-tic?

This is the closest thing to a comic-book I've ever seen done in 3D, last shot seems to come out straight from Dylan Dog.

I'm really anxious to see this thing in motion.

I mean, they have a smoking pet pig! :cool:

Well, looks 3D to me, they always work in 3D so... i assumed that part, but seems very likely. Guess they managed to find the right values of contrast for the lights, I think the "comic book effect" is enhanced first and foremost by the stark shadows.

Is that actually based on the Fables comicbook series or just very closely related? The hero looks straight out of that, but that's the only thing I recognize from the trailer.

 

EDIT: My bad, just noticed they explicitely say that it is based off of it in the trailer. I need more sleep
