I mentioned this just the other day at work when watching a colleague play the end (he never finished it... stopped at the Strider literally 10 minutes before the end). Wow.

Funny thing that came up: back then, 4 hours of authentication problems; SimCity comes out nine years later: 4 days of server problems.

haha i remember how freaked out i was about half life 2, i was basically totally in love with the e3 demos from 2003.

and.. then when they hacked the game and half of the code was lost.
