ultradr3mer Posted April 28, 2013 Report Posted April 28, 2013 (edited) I saw some Youtube music-videos having really great visualizers and thought why cant media players be something that looks like that. Something that you can put on your TV like steam big picture. So i made this Media player. Its something like the opposite of foobar2000. It has almost no features but a cool UI. Also this is what i made the Color Picker for. There seem to be problems on Nvidia cards. im working on that. Download Screenshots Help With Settings Xml. Path to your media folder. <LibraryPath>E:\music</LibraryPath> If the it doesn't run smoothly you can try setting this down to 1. <DssaQuality>2</DssaQuality> You can set a custom resolution here (does not affect full screen resolution). <Width>1280</Width> <Height>720</Height> If no Cover found this colors will be used. <DefaultColorA>#FF4C4C</DefaultColorA> <DefaultColorB>#5482FF</DefaultColorB> Edited April 28, 2013 by ultradr3mer Chimeray and Rick_D 2 Quote
Prof. Orribilus Posted June 16, 2013 Report Posted June 16, 2013 (edited) I am not sure but, at this point, it could make more sense to develope a plug-in for some mediacenter like MediaPortal or for some graphics editing software. Edited June 16, 2013 by Prof. Orribilus Quote
ultradr3mer Posted June 20, 2013 Author Report Posted June 20, 2013 Thats what i thought but making a plugin for foobar 2k which is the media player i prefer seemed to be way more painful than just coding a new media player in c#. Quote

As you wish. However, in my opinion, it is easier for you but it could be a problem for users because they must give their favorite player/mediacenter up only for that graphical effect. Quote
