Flashback remake (demake?)

Oh man... i love the original version art direction. but this new 3d stuff... is so generic =/ I can recognize some of the original stuff, but the render is ugly :/

I would love to see Fatshark studio working on a remake of Flashback. Kinda rather their work than this strange render on flashback from ubi. ://

Damn, that looks so contrasty. It's really unacceptable that in a fast paced game like that you can't read shit because the shadows are 100% black and the characters are as dark as the environment.

Could be cool to have a 2d remake on that ubiworks engine instead (or whatever the hell the rayman/outland engine is called).

As soon as I saw the thumbnail yesterday, I was hyped; after a few plays of the trailer, not so much. My first concern would be controls, they don't seem as fluid as they should and I've been burned already by the remake of Lode Runner.

Then the art... after the trailer i ended up watching a little bit of the original from the yt related videos, and the 2.5D just isn't that cool.

As Minos, I'd be curious in seeing it in real 2D HD.

I hope this means someone is going to remake Rick Dangerous soon.

What about an ensemble of mapcorians?
