Fullauto Posted January 7, 2005 Report Posted January 7, 2005 Any physics thingies would be lost over the edge in the first 30 seconds. Quote
W01f Posted January 7, 2005 Author Report Posted January 7, 2005 ^lol, do you honestly think I wouldn't realize this after working on it every day for an entire month? Don't worry As for that last comment about futuristic looking boxes..sounds good, but you can't use custom material for the contest :/ Quote
zeeeg Posted January 7, 2005 Report Posted January 7, 2005 It'd be interesting to have a map like this with no weapons, just the gravity gun and those energy orb things. Quote
Smokey Posted January 8, 2005 Report Posted January 8, 2005 Hee wolf do you remeber when I (|-SSD-|Smokey) went to a server that you were testin somethin but then told me to go to the other server which had the version that looked much better?...lol you prolly dont but I can see you def. improved it, looks great As for gameplay I loved it when I played it a while ago, very intresting and somethin dif. than all these urban maps coming out. W01f Posted January 8, 2005 Author Report Posted January 8, 2005 Actually I think I do remember you Thanks for the kind comments. For the release, am I supposed to put this in a PAK file like for Quake3, or do I just put the bsp into a zip file and leave it as is? Quote
MrH2o Posted January 9, 2005 Report Posted January 9, 2005 My suggestion was to make that laser random and hitting the player, much like in HL2 sp or the old cs map (astec) but maybe that gets boring ? Quote
venomus Posted January 11, 2005 Report Posted January 11, 2005 My map just got owned Seriously that is the best looking HL2 map I have seen so far. The only problem I can think of is that the open style may not be suited to Hl2's slow movement speed. Someone really needs to make a mod with the sprinting cap removed. The AG2 team could really use a few maps like these I would have thought. Quote
Dag Posted January 16, 2005 Report Posted January 16, 2005 sv_infinite_aux 1 Fairly self explanitory. Now we just need to be able to enable it on a per-map basis. Quote
ReNo Posted January 17, 2005 Report Posted January 17, 2005 You can change server variables using a map entity, but I'm not sure if it would be set back to default once the map had ended. Quote
