I finished the campaign the other day - good fun. It's a game I didn't enjoy for the storyline and epic set-pieces but for the sheer fun of clearing one arena after the next. Cycling through your arsenal, timing the use of power-ups, using the layout of the room to your advantage - it felt like clearing the stages of a puzzle game that comes in an extremely visceral packaging (and with a shotgun). I got my money's worth without having played the MP. Disclaimer: I bought the game when it was 50% off, because I am a cheap cunt.

So where's more Single Player content? ID are supporting the one aspect of the game that is immediately forgettable and pretty rubbish, the MP. Need more SP plz.

@Sprony No, he's not working here anymore. Not many folks from the old days are left here, basically a new team.

@dux I think that question has been answered multiple times that there are no plans for a SP DLC...too bad, I know.

New MP DLC is out...so if you have some time between Overwatch, BF1 and Titenfall2, play some DOOM MP

I find it really weird that this game was a massive hit for it's campaign mode, and they're instead trying to support a mode that not many care about, it just doesn't feel like a smart move to me, even if I understand they're trying to save MP by adding more content, the fundamental problem with this game's MP is not a lack of content but instead it's the way it was designed.
I'd be way happier if I saw the team polishing and improving the MP instead of just adding more stuff to it. If I saw a genuine effort into revamping the MP mode based on player feedback, it might sell me into firing it up again.

That's just... stupid? Who's making these dumb decisions. They've got a goldmine sat here with how good this new Doom SP is and they are ignoring it in favour of the terrible MP?
