DrywallDreams Posted February 21, 2013 Report Posted February 21, 2013 (edited) Hello, everyone! I'm new here, and what's a better way of introducing myself than showing off my map? It's a remake of de_stadium_cz from Counter-Strike: Condition Zero for CSGO! This was my first time ever making my own textures for the tiles and signs, which I think turned out nicely. Check it out over here: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=168836810 Edited August 12, 2013 by Marcem Quote
FMPONE Posted February 21, 2013 Report Posted February 21, 2013 (edited) Welcome to Mapcore! Happy to have you here! It looks good If I were you I would continue on this project. It looks like everything is in place and (I'm assuming) working well. So polish it up, spend a lot of time on the texturing etc. I think it looks solid but more potential is there, I would study the official maps by decompiling them and seeing how the little details are done, it would add a lot to the presentation Edited February 21, 2013 by FMPONE -HP- 1 Quote
Wail Posted February 22, 2013 Report Posted February 22, 2013 Agreed with FMP, what have have looks solid as a base but I have never seen a stadium look that clean in my life. A pass of grit, litter and grime would really sell this level. Quote
ElectroSheep Posted February 22, 2013 Report Posted February 22, 2013 Yeah, add all the details, dirt, life in the map and this will be awesome >:] kikette 1 Quote
DrywallDreams Posted August 12, 2013 Author Report Posted August 12, 2013 http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=168836810 Released a pretty big update, I wan't really satisfied with how the map was in the end, so I removed that awful brush scoreboard at bombsite B, added interiors to the closed concession stands, and re-did the area outside CT spawn, and generally polished the map a little (I also re-uploaded with the final version because the map workshop opened when the map was still a heavy WIP which didn't look too good). And with that, I think I'm finally done touching this map. Quote
