Little help for a new map maker

Recommended Posts

If this is your first time having a shot at mapping, a curved staircase is not really the most easy thing to do right ahead. You're better of learning the different tools from Hammer first and take small steps from there.

Here are some sites with tutorials (from beginner to advanced) that will help you get started.

Also, the VDC is an amazing source of information:

Hope that helps!

Hi coolfacts!

Want to hear a cool fact? Generally, it's really good if you take the time to experiment on your own, google the problem (the above link was the first result for "curved staircase hammer") and then post in the right forum if you still need help. Because if you do those three things first, it feels less like we are the manservants of a lazy person when we help you out. :)

      Two new asset releases!

First up is Basalt. Sadly I can't release all of the assets as some of the nature stuff is from Megascans and can't be redistributed. Also only includes the assets I've made.

Second one is assets I've made for Pitstop. A small release that includes some road and concrete trim textures, a bunch of sponsors and some skybox buildings that might be useful.
