You know, I had given up on getting a PS4 and upgraded my PC instead (like I mentioned before). Today, out of the blue, we got a call that my PS4 had arrived. I was confused since I cancelled my preorder. But I had tried so many places that I forgot all about this one. Unfortunately I used the budget on my PC already. Luckily I'm blessed with the most awesome wife ever and now I'm looking at this:

Hell yeah dude, congrats! :D That controller feels so good, you're gonna love it!

I recommend you try NFS Rivals as well, and AC4!

Thanks man. But those games don't interest me. I want Thief!

Yeah, sell that KZ game lol

Nah man. It gives me something to do until Thief. Got it cheap from someone else and it's definitively worth 30 euros for the eye candy alone imo.

Well, yeah, funny if you told me a few months ago I would be enjoying a NFS and AC game so much, I would tell you you're full of shit. Just keep it in the back of your mind man, if you ever get someone to lend it to you or something! :D

AC4 is definitely way better than I would've dreamed of, after having played every single game in the series then I completely written that franchise off, but they've actually managed to make it feel really fresh. By far the PS4 game I've spent the most time on~~

Also, Outlast is out on PS Plus today (that is, free if you're a PS Plus subscriber). Started playing it on PC when it was released, but never got around to finishing it, definitely going to give it another chance here.

The Killzone mp is pretty good imo. Highly recommend AC4 though, I hated the others but agree with Mazy, this one feels fresh and there's so much to do and explore. Definitely gives off a 'next-gen' feel compared to the other games out at the minute.  :)

Great tip man. Outlast on my big screen is awesome. Killzone is also pretty.

Except that AC4 is really a PS3 game ported to PS4 :P

So the only decent game on PS4 is in fact a PS3 game.

woops

That's one awesome avatar!

I played it for a couple of hours and started to worry that I had become retarded. I was stuck, didn't know what to do and the game made no effort in making things clear. I'm not talking about holding hands here but the most basic message (what am I supposed to do) didn't came across. So yesterday I had a LAN and about 7 different people played it. Every one of them said the same. Where am I supposed to go? How does this work? Etc. It's beautiful but such an unclear mess of a game. Anyone else experienced that? I'm talking SP only btw.

So now I have a new system but no game to show. I've put Killzone up for sale. I'm thinking Tomb Raider or AC4. Both games have decent reviews but neither really appeal that much to me. You guys are pro AC4. Is is still as repetitive as the first? Because I quit playing that after an hour. Anyone recommend Tomb Raider?

Tomb Raider was a highlight of last year for me, a very good reboot IMO that was easily most of the most visually stunning games of the last generation. If you like Uncharted-style action with a bit of Far Cry (i.e. huge 'hub' areas) you should really enjoy it.

Unfortunately I also played Deus Ex: HR and Dishonored for the first time last year and they blew my mind, so Tomb Raider kind of loses out to them in my 2013 gaming memories. :D I'd kind of like to see a better-graphics DX:HR re-release for the new generation, however at this point I guess it'd make more sense to just get an incredible sequel out within the next few years. Dat fuckin' atmosphere...
