"We're creating something that's completely NEW" A First Person Shooter about aliens where the human protagonist fights against extinction.

And I'm ok with that, it does look cool, and I'm sure it will bring a lot of new mechanics to the table; but its sad its planned for this generation of consoles and no PC. I was hoping for next gen, or at least PC but I shouldn't expect these things from them.

I would imagine that since they're planning for 10 years, next gen consoles are probably part of their plan.

I think the setting sounds awesome, a mix of alien races colonizing the ruins of a future human civilization, there's a lot of potential there.

I do wish PCs were included, though. Not sure I really want to play coop with console randoms.

I can see it now - a beautiful vista revealed, a shot of our characters with badass armor and weapons - then cue someone yelling "FAAGGGG" before teamkilling everyone, then running to the end boss and stealing all the loot while they play their boombox in the background, their mom yelling at them. I don't know why voice chat isn't opt in and not opt out.

That trailer reminds me a bit of why Bungie irks me sometimes with the tone of their games. It's like they're a bit pretentious or high off their own supply. And the phone thing seems like a gimmick. The art is pretty spiffy though
