AlexM Posted March 12, 2013 Author Report Posted March 12, 2013 (edited) Got a basic tag search page up now. It works a little wonky with the theme because it shows the series of links from reblogged posts. I think I need to change the theme to a grid format that doesn't show that information unless you actually click the image. I'll be experimenting with that so bare with me for now. Tag search page : http://leveldesignin...r.com/tagsearch EDIT: NM it works fine it just has a bug where when you reach the end of all the tagged images it starts writing the word "new" over and over again :X Edited March 12, 2013 by AlexM Quote

AlexM Posted March 12, 2013 Author Report Posted March 12, 2013 In case there's any confusion. Tumblr has unlimited storage. You don't have to worry about upload limits. The only limit is each individual image can't be larger than 10MB Quote
AlexM Posted March 16, 2013 Author Report Posted March 16, 2013 Well it took about 2.5 hours but everything is finally tagged It should be about 30 mins until the tagging is updated on the tag page. There's a server that queries the blgo every 30 mins and updates the tag page. Quote
Beck Posted March 20, 2013 Report Posted March 20, 2013 I can't see any of the tags and the tag search doesn't seem to be working for me. Am I doing something dumb? I'm on Chrome by the way. Also, if anyone has any good Medieval building images or know of a good resource please post! <3 Quote
AlexM Posted March 27, 2013 Author Report Posted March 27, 2013 (edited) I can't see any of the tags and the tag search doesn't seem to be working for me. Am I doing something dumb? I'm on Chrome by the way. Also, if anyone has any good Medieval building images or know of a good resource please post! <3 Sorry for the delay I didn't realize this was replied to. Do the tags still not work for you on this page? http://leveldesignin...r.com/tagsearch It seems to work for me. Does it not work for anyone else? Eventually I will have to write a server side script to handle this for me because the service I'm using can only handle 5000 posts maximum. UPDATE : A level designer from Respawn Entertainment by the name of Chuck Wilson has recently started contributing quite a bit to the blog. In fact he just sent me a huge chunk of photos the other night organized into a lot of settings. So combined with the images I've been saving up and his images it looks like we'll be having quite a few series in the near future. I'll also probably up the post-per-day count to 2X from 1X since there's now about 30-40 days of backlog already. If anyone has any themes they'd like to see let me know, Some that are coming are : Dystopian Wartorn European Bulgaria Edited March 27, 2013 by AlexM Quote
Beck Posted March 27, 2013 Report Posted March 27, 2013 Nope, not as far as I can tell. This is what I see: Quote
AlexM Posted March 28, 2013 Author Report Posted March 28, 2013 What the crap? There should be a bunch of tags there. Is anyone else having this problem? The only thing I can think of offhand is that it uses javascript. Do you have any sort of blockers or anything enabled? Quote
Beck Posted March 28, 2013 Report Posted March 28, 2013 I have Adblock Plus enabled. Apart from that I don't think I have anything else enabled. I get no Javascript errors coming up either! Quote
