Bic-B@ll Posted December 30, 2004 Report Posted December 30, 2004 for those of you that don't read PHL and use QuArK (actually i think blaz is the only one ) http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~quark/ i don't really use quark too much, just for ripping textures or dumping texture lists or sometimes the leak finder, i prefer wc though
Pericolos0 Posted January 10, 2005 Report Posted January 10, 2005 if they are adding lighting preview options i might be switching ;o also cos it doesnt need steam running (bah)
Squad Posted January 10, 2005 Report Posted January 10, 2005 Good points, Peri. I hate the fact you need Steam running (especially when your internet connection is acting like a bitch from time to time).
hamst3r Posted January 10, 2005 Report Posted January 10, 2005 I used quark for quake 2 mapping or complicated entity work. I like the lil' blue arrows that connect the entities and targets to each other.
RD Posted January 10, 2005 Report Posted January 10, 2005 hammer doesnt have that? blue arrows or something?
hamst3r Posted January 10, 2005 Report Posted January 10, 2005 If I remember right in quark, when you clicked on a entity, it would show a light blue arrow connecting it to its target....unless they change it or somthing. And no, hammer dosent have it. :-?
OpticHelix Posted January 26, 2005 Report Posted January 26, 2005 Thanks for telling me earlier Bic!!! *much love to quark*
Belgarion Posted January 26, 2005 Report Posted January 26, 2005 .... Radiant does that... but radiant uses green. they say geniouses pick green. but quark didn't pick green.
Bic-B@ll Posted January 26, 2005 Author Report Posted January 26, 2005 putting entities in a line is easier
