D3ads Posted October 31, 2014 Report Posted October 31, 2014 (edited) I'm going to play it with my wife. "Johnny, why are we playing a videogame instead of making more babies...?" Edited October 31, 2014 by D3ads Sprony, TheOnlyDoubleF and Buddy 3 Quote
Sprony Posted November 1, 2014 Author Report Posted November 1, 2014 I'm going to play it with my wife. "Johnny, why are we playing a videogame instead of making more babies...?" It took me 6 years but she's into splatter gore now. Thank you Walking Dead! Quote

ElectroSheep Posted November 24, 2014 Report Posted November 24, 2014 Well, I have to finish it, but I feel lazy. knj 1 Quote
Sprony Posted February 7, 2015 Author Report Posted February 7, 2015 Ok, I played the first chapter but found it to be very confusing. Like, you are limping due to an injury to your leg and all of a sudden you are running again? I didn't touch it since. This week I've decided to give it another go. I started over but apparently there's no explanation for the part above. In fact, it's better not to think too much about what's going on. The dialog is hilarious btw. I walk into a room, filled with bodies and blood and he simply says:"There's something wrong with this place". No shit... Having said that, the game pick ups in Chapter 2 (I'm now in Chapter 5) and it get's really good. I love the combat, atmosphere and so on. Really immersive and some impressive scary moments (that spider thingie, wtf). Can't wait to play again. Quote
PaulH Posted February 7, 2015 Report Posted February 7, 2015 I stopped playing it during the second chapter (soon after the ambulance crash), I guess I should carry on? I hear it gets better, certainly didn't sell me from the start though Quote
knj Posted February 8, 2015 Report Posted February 8, 2015 IMO half of the game is great, but after chapter 10 is getting boring Quote

I hear it gets better, certainly didn't sell me from the start though Same here man but it really picks up from that point on. IMO half of the game is great, but after chapter 10 is getting boring I think I read somewhere that there are 15 chapters? You finished it already? Why is getting boring (no spoilers please)? Btw, the whole key thing and the morgue is an awesome touch. I really like that mechanic. Quote
knj Posted February 8, 2015 Report Posted February 8, 2015 No spoilers. Before I've started playing this, I did read a review (don't remember who did the review), one of the cons of the game was that the chapters and story are not there. Just the basic story to cover the different places you are traveling. At first I was like WTF ? I was sure that there is some clever story behind it, but there isn't Don't want to spoil it to you, but I was expecting smth crazy ect, but You will see by yourself. And the game is boring later on, while I LOVED that village, that survival horror/stealth game, later on it's just pure shooting gallery in that bad way It's a good game, but I was expecting more tbh. As for the hospital with that creepy hot girl LOL, well it's cool but . . . . Quote

As for the chainsaw in your leg and several second later you good, that should make you think Yes that game have GREAT bosses, that spired girl is creepy as fuck, but you will see some more crazy shiet. It's a shame cause some times that games is like going from one boss to another. Again bosses are great and scary shit in this game, but most of the levels are just like pointless bridges connecting those Quote
Sprony Posted April 26, 2015 Author Report Posted April 26, 2015 I finished it. That was some crazy stuff right there. The amount of gore and enemy design is really out there. Lots of suspense too. It's a real fucked up game to be honest and I loved it. I understand the critique people had in this thread but overall it was a great experience. I highly recommend it. Also, special props to some of the enemies. Laura, the invisible guys, the imitations (in trench coat) and the box dude were awesome! Quote
