Evil Dead (2013)

So Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell announced that they would bring back the original Evil Dead. They would act as producers and Fede Alvarez would direct. They would drop the humor of the sequels and really do it like the original. So no one liners, just pure horror. Normally I frown upon remakes but I love this franchise and I thoroughly enjoy Sam his movies. Today, the Red Brand trailer was released and boy is this horror fan excited. Enjoy!

But why no humor? The 2 sequels are far better than the first movie, and I really enjoyed Drag me to hell, so that is disapointing

Looks fucking terrible. Didn't even bother watching it to the end.

I love how the movie is relying on real special effects and not full on digital stuff but only when needed. Patrick Baxter from the Hobbit, 300, Dawn of the Dead, etc etc, is lead on prostectics. No wonder they look so amazing in the trailer!
