Thrik Posted November 3, 2012 Report Posted November 3, 2012 Pretty unusual to see this kind of thing here, but it undeniably looks cool. Don't know nearly enough about how mapping works for such a game to pass any further comments, sadly! Quote
⌐■_■ Posted November 3, 2012 Report Posted November 3, 2012 looks pretty far out indeed not much constructive to say anyway, apart from that the water looks ''swimmingpool clear'', which I have never seen. there's always some plankton/dust/particles fog floating around, diffusing the light but that's just my limited experience with diving. nevertheless; awesome work! Vilham Posted November 3, 2012 Report Posted November 3, 2012 Whats the goal of the player? what sort of size areas are you limited by? If the goal is to discover things/get gold or something, add some more internal location. Like large sunken ships or like your shots above the inside of a large sunken temple. Maybe a underwater crevice with little light at the bottom might be an interesting location. Quote

Maybe a underwater crevice with little light at the bottom might be an interesting location. Player can catch fishes, find treasures and take pictures. Size is 400x400m. Different internal locations is the thing we work at. But we have limit: just one light source. That's why it's hard to make internal location not so dark. Quote
